Day 1 :

Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve (6–7 hrs) by road

Depart Nairobi early and travel north across the equator through Nanyuki toward Samburu. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon for check-in and late lunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying views of the Ewaso Nyiro River before dinner.

Day 2 :

Full Day in Samburu

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the rugged semi-arid reserve. Look out for the rare “Samburu Special Five” — reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

Day 3 :

Explore More of Samburu

A full day exploring deeper sections of the park. Experience the contrast of dramatic hills, dry riverbeds, and rich wildlife. Optional cultural visit to a Samburu village.

Day 4 :

Samburu → Nanyuki / Ol Pejeta (3–4 hrs

After breakfast, drive south to Nanyuki at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, visiting the rhino and chimpanzee sanctuaries.

Day 5 :

Full Day in Ol Pejeta

Spend the day exploring Ol Pejeta, known for its strong conservation programs and high wildlife density. Morning and afternoon game drives with a chance to see the Big Five.

Day 6 :

Nanyuki → Amboseli National Park (6–7 hrs via Nairobi)

Depart early for Amboseli, stopping for lunch in Nairobi. Continue south and arrive late afternoon. Check in and enjoy sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 7 :

Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives across Amboseli’s open plains, famous for elephant herds and the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Rest at your lodge between drives.

Day 08 :

Explore Amboseli

Another full day in Amboseli. Optional Maasai village visit or guided nature walk. Relax and soak in the serenity of the park.

Day 09 :

Amboseli → Maasai Mara (7–8 hrs)

After breakfast, begin your journey to the Maasai Mara. Arrive by evening, check in, and enjoy a relaxed dinner at your lodge or camp.

Day 10 :

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. Spot lions, leopards, elephants, and—during migration season—vast herds of wildebeest.

Day 11 :

Explore the Mara Further

Another full day of adventure in the Mara. Optional hot-air balloon safari at sunrise or visit a Maasai village to experience their culture.

Day 12 :

Final Day in the Mara

Enjoy a relaxed morning game drive and leisure time at the lodge. Reflect on your journey as you watch the sunset over the savannah.

Maasai Mara → Nairobi (5–6 hrs)
